As you know a massive 9.0-magnitude earthquake struck the eastern coast of Japan on Friday March 11th. Within minutes, the quake triggered a destructive tsunami that hit the eastern coast of Japan with 7-metre-high waves.

Our gift, as well as yours, will support the Japanese Red Cross Society (JRCS) disaster relief efforts to help those affected by the earthquake and tsunami. Funds will be utilized for the on-going provision of immediate relief and for eventual recovery support to the affected population.

The Japanese people have demonstrated their resolve for supporting vulnerable people around the globe, as the world’s attention now focuses on Japan we stand with them in solidarity.
